Gr 2-6-Fans of Timmy Failure had feared it was the end, but author and illustrator Pastis delights readers with the Timmy Failure origin story. This is the remarkable tale of how Timmy began his detective agency, detailing the moment when he first met his archnemesis Corrina, and explaining the source of his famous scarf. The ironic humor and amusing pictures make this installment every bit as desirable to the young reader as the previous entries. With the release of the movie based on the first book, there will be renewed interest in this series, so check your shelves and make sure you have all eight. VERDICT This book is a must-read for "Timmy Failure" fans.
