Turkey Trouble on the National Mall
January 1, 2013
When her stepfather, the president, pardons the Thanksgiving turkey, KC and her friend Marshall think other turkeys should be, too. After hundreds of people bring turkeys to the National Mall, the birds are stolen; as usual, the kids nab the thieves. Though the premise is far-fetched and the characters lack depth, the fast-paced story, accompanied by shadowy black-and-white pictures, should satisfy fans. Appended history about presidential turkey pardoning may add interest.
