As Genevieve establishes her new life in Colorado, Jake endeavors to figure out who he is. To that end, he quits his job and establishes a connection with Tess, a former employee. As both Genevieve and Jake release themselves from the expectations of others, they find their own paths toward happiness. Readers looking for feel-good fiction about a big, loving family will enjoy this first installment in the Lake in the Clouds series. March creates believable characters, and the Prentice family is an easy one to spend time with.
